Still Water Social was created as a major university project investigating the loneliness epidemic among young adults aged 18 to 25․ Research showed that people socialise most comfortably when doing something together‚ so this world was built around shared games and conversation prompts designed to make connection feel natural and low pressure․ By placing this experience in a virtual space‚ the barrier to entry stays low‚ offering an alternative to high energy real world social events․ The goal is to slowly build social confidence and communication skills in a safe‚ anonymous environment‚ using that as a stepping stone toward real world connection․
